Go Green Day

Friday was "Go Green Day" at Montessori. While the tots spent the week learning about the color green and some basic "green concepts", the bigger kids learned in more detail ways to help save the environment.

Montessori also caters lunch in every Friday, so Aden gets a special treat (and I don't have to pack a lunch =).

Game Day Fun

Our friends, Sean and Miranda, came to Fayetteville with us this past Saturday for the first Razorback home game. We also had several other friends stop by. Here are some pictures from our day:

After the game, we headed to Powerhouse for appetizers and drinks. Then, it was on to Willie D's, a piano bar. We had lots of fun. Here are a few pictures from the evening:

I want this mouse OUT of my house!!!

How do you have a mouse in a brand new home??? The fact that we live in the country (well, almost) greatly contributes to it, I'm sure. Since we moved in, in December, we've had visits from a black widow, a mole, a few tarantulas, a snapping turtle, and now this. My friend Jennifer who lives down the street had a water moccasin in her yard. There was also a fox who got runover in the street.

I am afraid to let Aden play outside. Any suggestions of how to contain this problem?

Montessori Back to School Swim Party

Montessori held a back to school swim party on Friday at the Alma Water Park. We invited my friend Jennifer and her son, Maddox, to come along with us. They boys had a blast! Here are some pictures from the party.
